BURNSVILLE – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced their player of the week selections earlier today with USF running back Thuro Reisdorfer being named the Offensive Player of the Week.
Reisdorfer helped lift the Coo over Minnesota-Duluth this weekend with a 34-31 homecoming victory. While rushing for 100 yards, he moved in to 9th place in the USF all-time rushing category. With three receptions for 12 yards and 19 carries for 100 yards, Reisdorfer tallied three touchdowns on the day to help Sioux Falls advance to 4-0 on the season.
Currently, Reisdorfer sits with 2,853 career rushing yards and 36 career touchdowns for the Cougars. Throughout four games he has rushed for 486 yards off of 83 carries and collected seven touchdowns in the process. Reisdorfer currently leads the conference in scoring overall and touchdown scoring with 42 total points while averaging 10.5 points per game.
