2013-14 (JUNIOR): Indoor: Ran a season best time of 2:25.71 in the 800m run at the MSU Coaches Open…also competed in the Mile run where she crossed the line with a time of 5:25.48…was a member of the Cougars Distance Medley Relay at the NSIC Indoor Championships, where she helped guide relay to a 4th place finish…Outdoor: competed in the 1500m run where she ran a season best time of 5:00.26 at the Red Raider Open…also competed in the 800m run where her best time came at the Mount Marty Twilight when she crossed the line in 2:21.65…finished 24th overall at the NSIC Championships in the 800m run with her time of 2:27.83. 

2011-2013 (FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE): Competed at Morningside College in both cross country and track & field…four-time GPAC Conference Champion in the 4x800m relay (Indoor: 2012 Outdoor: 2012,2013) and the 400m hurdles (2012)…four-time NAIA All-American as a member of the Distance Medley Relay and the 4x800m Relay…member of the NAIA Indoor National Champion 4x800m Relay.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Doug and Terri Petersen…has five siblings…plans to major in Exercise Science at USF.
