2013-14 (FRESHMAN): Indoor: season best time in the Mile run came at the MSU Open where she finished in 5:19.07…competed in the 5000m run at the NSIC Championships where she finished with a time of 18:45.59…also competed in the 3000m run where she ran a team best time of 10:35.89…was a member of the Cougars Distance Medley Relay at the NSIC Championships that finished 4th overall with their time of 12:45.53…Outdoor: ran a time of 4:47.43 in the 1500m run at the Red Raider Open…made several appearances on the 4x400m relay, running a season best split of 62.7 at the UNK Invitational…competed in the 1500m run at the NSIC Outdoor Championships where she finished 15th overall with a time of 4:59.96.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Gering (Neb.)…personal best of 2:23.0 in the 800m Run...cross country Western All-Conference Award...earned a 9th place finish at the 2012 Nebraska State Cross Country Meet...three-event state qualifier...track & field Western All-Conference award winner.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Bryan and Sandra Huffman…Born November 3, 1994....plans on majoring in Psychology at USF...brother Dan ran cross country for Nebraska-Kearney from 2002-2005.
