2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Indoor: Redshirted…Outdoor: broke the two-minute barrier in the 800m run when he crossed the line at the Mount Marty Twilight with his final time of 1:59.15…also was a member of the 4x400m Relay that ran their season best time of 3:22.19 at the NSIC Championships…best 4x400m relay split came at the Red Raider Open when he ran his 400m leg in a time of 49.9. 

2012-13 (FRESHMAN): Indoor- season best time of 2:41.81 in the 1000m run at the Prairie Wolf Invitational…also competed in the 800m run where he ran a season best time of 2:05.11 at the MSU Mankato Preseason Open…Outdoor-season best time of 2:01.19 in the 800m run at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays…competed in the 800m run at the NSIC Outdoor Championships where he finished 22nd overall…also competed in the 1500m run where he ran a season best time of 4:33.70 at the Vance Butler Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Central (S.D.)...participated in track and field, cross country, and hockey...placed in state tournament for the 400 and the 800 sophomore-senior year...placed second in the 4x2 and 8th in the 400 as a junior... finished 6th in the 800 and placed in the 4x4 senior year... was team's most valuable player senior year.

PERSONAL: Born April 30th, 1994...son of Tom and Renea Wensmann...has one brother, Ross, and two sisters, Leah and Ellie... an accounting major with a business minor... Taylor wishes to get his CPA in accounting.
