Biography
2012-2013 (JUNIOR): Indoor- competed in the 60m dash where he had a season best time of 7.24 at the USD Open…also competed in the 200m dash where his season best time of 23.85 came at the Dordt Invitational…Outdoor-competed at the NSIC Outdoor Championships in the 100m dash where his season best time of 11.22 placed him 16th overall…also competed in the 200m dash at the NSIC Championships, running a season best 22.88 on his way to finishing 20th overall.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lincoln Southwest HS in Lincoln, Neb. where he competed on the track & field team…personal best of 10.84 in the 100m dash and 22.80 in the 200m dash…also competed in the triple jump where he holds a personal best mark of 41-1…member of the Lincoln Journal Star Academic All-State team in 2010.
PERSONAL: Son of Jeff and Deb Shield…has three siblings…plans on majoring in Business Administration at USF.
