2013-14 (JUNIOR): Indoor: Threw a season best mark of 45-10.75 (13.99m) in the Weight Throw at the NSIC Championships where he placed 16th overall…also competed in the Shot Put where he came away with a toss of 39-2.5 (11.95m) at the Chuck Peterson Pre-Season Open…Outdoor: Season best mark in the Long Jump with a leap of 18-5.25 (5.62m).
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Roosevelt HS in Sioux Falls, S.D. where he competed in track & field basketball, and football…earned All-Academic honors in basketball.
PERSONAL: Son of Doug and Candy Roby…born January 5, 1992…has three siblings…majoring in Biology (Pre-Dental) at USF…wants to work in orthodontics…volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sioux Empire.
