HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Menno (SD)...participated in basketball and track & field...discuss state qualifier in 2011 & '12...school record holder in both shot put (36-4.5/11.08m) and discus (117-4/35.76m).

PERSONAL: Daughter of Daniel and Robin Mettler and has one brother and two sisters...Mary is a mathematics major and aspires to become a high school math teacher.
