Biography
High School
As a multi-sport athlete, Engebretson competed in wrestling, softball, track & field as well as volleyball for the Comets. As a wrestler, she earned a record of 106-22 throughout her high school career. Due to her athletic excellence, she earned in plethora of honors. Individually, she was a 3x State Qualifier, State Champion, 2x CIML Conference Champion, and a CIML Runner-up for wrestling, a 2x First Team All-Conference honoree, 3rd Team All-State honoree, and 2nd Team All-State honoree for softball, and a 3x State Qualifier for track & field. Her teams also saw great success with her as a member as the wrestling team earned awards of, team GPA above 3.5, and State-Runner up. The softball team was a 2x Raccoon River Conference Champion, and 3x State Qualifier. Academically Engebretson earned Gold Honor 4x and DMACC Dean's List x2.Â
Personal
At USF, Engebretson will be minoring in biblical studies. Her career goal is to either become a police officer or a juvenille court officer. She is the daughter of Cory and Tammy Engebretson and has three siblings, Logan, Cale, and Luke.
