Jason Ferro is in his fifth year as the Assistant Athletic Director for Operations at the University of Sioux Falls, where he leads the athletic department’s fundraising efforts through corporate sponsorships and the Cougar Club. Ferro works to build and maintain relationships with partners and supporters while overseeing sponsorship fulfillment.
On game days, Ferro assists with coordinating game-day workers, scripts events, manages webcast production, and enhances community and civic engagement through promotional activities. He collaborates with university staff, athletics personnel, and community partners to help enhance game-day experience while striving to enrich the student-athlete experience through partnerships and promotions.
A native of Bristol, Rhode Island, Ferro previously served as a graduate assistant for USF Athletics from 2018 to 2020. During this time, he contributed to fundraising initiatives, donor research, marketing material development, and game-day operations. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from USF in 2020.
Ferro graduated Magna Cum Laude from Nichols College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, where he was recognized as the Residence Life Staff Member of the Year. His professional experience includes serving as a football operations intern at the University of Miami during the Hurricanes’ 2016 bowl-winning season, assisting with operations, bowl game preparations, and event planning.
