The University of Sioux Falls men's golf finished runner-up at the Beuna Vista Tournament held at Lake Creek Country Club (Par 72/6,708 yards) in Storm Lake, Iowa. The Cougars finished one stroke behind Great Plains Athletic Conference opponent Dakota Wesleyan University (307).

Leading the men was senior Thomas Thompson (Kimball, S.D), who shot three over par with 75 strokes, finishing tied for third. Freshman Jordan Mueller (Yankton, S.D.) had an extremely strong collegiate debut coming in one stroke behind Thompson, tying for sixth. Junior Kyle Shock (Sioux Falls, S.D.) tied for 9th with 77 strokes. Finishing out the scoring for the Cougars were seniors Matthew Bertch (St. Cloud, Minn.) and Lucas Downden (Freeman, S.D.).

Also competing was the USF "white team" who was seventh out of 13 total teams. Comprising the second squad was sophomore Shea Stoltenbrg (Garretson, S.D.), freshman Dylan De Schepper (Sioux Falls, S.D.), freshman Levi Smith (Sioux Falls, S.D.), sophomore Troy Klongerbo (Duluth, Minn.) and freshman Richard Dunlap (Tea, S.D.).
