University of Sioux Falls men's basketball recruit Nick Savageau has piled another honor, this time being named North Dakota Gatorade Men's Basketball Player of the Year. Savageau is also the Class A Senior Player of the Year and a first team North Dakota All-State selection.

This season Savageau averaged 21.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.5 steals per game. The 5'10 guard joins Bryan Kielpinski of Mandan as the other North Dakota commitment to the Cougars. USF also has two other commitments, both from South Dakota, Alex Robey of Sioux Falls and Derek Brown of Clark.
