The University of Sioux Falls women's golf team took part in the Augustana Invitational this weekend and came away with a sixth place team finish after shooting a 651 over the two day tournament.
The Cougars were led by junior Tavia Rutherford who shot a 79 on both days, finishing tied for 17th overall.
Sioux Falls native Mikaela Theobald followed up her first round score of 82 with a score of 79 in Sunday's round.
Juniors Natalie Turner and Tia Nihart both tied for 35th overall. Turner shot an 81 on day one and an 85 on day two while Nihart shot an 83 on both days.
Minnesota State would take the team title with a score of 602 claiming the top three individual spots in the field.
Up next, the Cougars head to St. Paul, Minn. September 15 to play in the Holiday Inn Invitational.
