The USF women's golf team competed at the Augustana Spring Invitational this weekend, coming away with a 4^th place finish at the event. The second round of the invitational on Sunday was cancelled due to cold weather and high winds, as Saturday's first round will serve as the final results.

Tavia Rutherford led the way for the Cougars with her 4^th place finish. The junior shot a 73 (+1) on the day and was just four strokes behind first place.

Mikaela Theobald was the next USF finisher as she placed 5^th overall with her round of 76 (+4). Theobald was in a tie for fifth but won the tiebreaker by shooting the lowest score on the back nine of the course.

Next in for the Cougars was Tia Nihart who finished in a tie for 19^th with her score of 81 (+9).

The final USF finisher in the top 30 at the invite was Audrey Kieliszewski who shot an 83 (+11) while finishing in a tie for 28^th.

The Cougar women took 4^th place as a team with their combined score of 313 (+25), which trailed winner Augustana by eleven strokes.

The Cougar women will return to action this weekend as they compete in the NSIC Spring Conference Tournament in Morton, Minn. on Saturday, April 26.
