The USF men's and women's golf teams wrapped up their second and final day of competing in the First Federal Bank Invite in Mountain Home, Ark. on Tuesday. The Cougar women came away with a 6th place finish while the men finished 10th overall.
Tavia Rutherford was the top female finisher as she placed 13th overall with her two round score of 160 (+16).
Coming in 25th place for USF was Tia Nihart who finished with a score of 171 (+27).
Kelsey Leif (t-32nd) and Mikaela Theobald (36th) were the next Cougar finishers with their respective scores of 176 (+32) and181 (+37).
On the men's side Jon Van't Hul led the way with his two round score of 155 (+11) which placed him in a tie for 34th. Van't Hul followed up his day one round of 80 with a second round of 75.
Next in was Andrew Nelson's who score of 160 (+16) gave him a 45th place finish.
Derek Dillon (168/+24), Nicholas Skajewski (171/+27) and Ben Loosbrock (175/+31) were the final three Cougar men taking part in the tournament as they finished in 60th, 63rd and 64th place respectively.
The Cougar women will return to action on Saturday, April 12 when they take part in the Augustana Invitational while the men will compete in the NSIC Spring Conference Tournament on Friday, April 11.
