ORLANDO, FLA. – The University of Sioux Falls Tennis (8-5) dropped a 5-0 decision to Merrimack College (9-0) on Wednesday night at the USTA Tennis Center. The match concluded USF play on their spring break Florida trip.
The Cougars dropped four of six singles matches with two unfinished as rain ended the match after Merrimack College had clinched the win. MC also earned the doubles point.
"We played hard but lost some tough points. I was proud of the way we battled against a really good team," said USF Head Coach
Kevin Grebin. "We played with a lot of heart tonight. I don't think the score was indicative of how well we played," he said.
