At the University of Sioux Falls, our internship program provides hands-on experience in NCAA Division II athletics, offering students meaningful opportunities to learn, lead and contribute in a fast-paced collegiate environment.
Whether your interests are in communications, operations, creative services or administration, USF Athletics interns gain real-world experience while working alongside coaches, administrators and student-athletes.

Academic Credit
USF Athletics internships are unpaid, educational experiences designed to complement classroom learning and are typically completed for academic credit within a student’s area of study. Students should work with their academic advisor and faculty internship supervisor to determine credit eligibility and program requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with NCAA and conference compliance education
- Support documentation and eligibility verification
- Assist in monitoring of recruiting and rules
- Gain exposure to athletics governance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with Cougar Club membership engagement and stewardship initiatives

- Help with game day premium seating, parking and donor benefit fulfillment
- Assist with fundraising event planning and alumni engagement opportunities
- Gain exposure to athletics development and external relations operations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

INTERNSHIP: USF Athletics Game Day Operations Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events
- Support live event operations and fan experience
- Learn game management procedures
- Work with event staff on regular-season and championship contests

INTERNSHIP: USF Athletics Livestream & Production Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with live event production for home athletic contests
- Support streaming broadcasts through camera operation, replay, graphics and production setup
- Gain hands-on experience with scoreboard, videoboard and in-game presentation systems
- Assist with play-by-play support, broadcast preparation and production troubleshooting
- Help enhance the digital fan experience through quality live coverage

INTERNSHIP: USF Athletics Ticketing Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support game day ticketing processes, including sales, will call, scanning, and troubleshooting at entry points
- Assist with box office reconciliation, sales tracking, and revenue reporting
- Help execute ticket marketing campaigns and fan engagement initiatives
- Provide support for special events, postseason ticketing, and donor or premium seating operations
- Assist with ticket operations logistics, including signage, credential distribution, and event setup
