Wayne, NE - After two days of the Wildcat Classic the University of Sioux Falls Women's Golf team finishes in 8th place. Cougars play final regular season tournament this weekend.
The Cougars posted identical scores of 331 in each round as they finish with an 86-over 662, just two strokes out of 7th.
Maggie Veenendall led the Cougars shooting 12-over 146.
Nebraska-Kearney claimed the team title with a 39-over 615 (306-308) behind the 2nd and 3rd individual golfers; Faviola Gonzalez (7-over 151) and Allison Conner (eight-over 152). Anna Tollette of Concordia St. Paul carded the top score with a six-over 150 as she led her team to 2nd place on a 46-over 622 (306-316). Wayne State held thira with a 50-over 626 (312-314).

The Cougars will play their last tournament, before the NSIC Championship, this weekend at the Easter Lily Invitational in Sioux Falls.
