MITCHELL, S.D. - Sioux Falls Women's Wrestling took on Dakota Wesleyan in the first ever women's collegiate dual in South Dakota coming away with a 39-10 win.
Ava McNeal at 101-pounds, Paw Hobza at 109-pounds, and Rei Ogden at 123-pounds all won due to forfeits while four Cougars won by fall and one by tech. fall.Â
Ady Lundquist defeated Ashden Welty at 116-pounds in a 1:26 pin to advance to 6-4 on the season.
Mackenzie Armagost, 130-pounds, had the fastest pin of the night at 0:40 over Mady Sargent to move to 3-4 on the year.
McKenna Hendrickson fell to Jayden Lange at 136-pound by a 4:24 pin.
Brinley Green is now 4-5 on the season with a 10-0 tech. fall over Hallie Stone at 143-pounds for the Coo.
Ciana Grate pinned Ali Bissel in 3:31 at 155-pounds and is now 3-2 on the year.
At 170-pounds, Aliyah Villarreal fell to Olivia Smith by a 1:35 pin.
Zoe Adam rounded out the night for USF with a 2:26 pin over Cayley Maynard at 191-pounds and advances to 9-4 in her collegiate career.
Teila Peters and Rei Ogden competed in extra matches this evening, both coming away with wins by fall.
