LARCHWOOD, IOWA – The USF Women's Golf team hosted day 1 of the USF Invitational today with the A team holding 2^nd place heading into the second round. Veenendall & Nelson close in the top-10.
 
The Cougars played all 13 golfers today split into two teams and 3 individual performers. Team A left the course at 24 strokes over par (312 total) and firmly in 2^nd place. Team B will enter day 2 at 63-over par (351 total) in 9^th place. Maggie Veenendall and Avery Nelson led the Cougars, finishing 6^th and 9^th respectively.
