MOORHEAD, MINN. - The University of Sioux Falls swim team delivered an outstanding performance during a tri-meet against MSU Moorhead and Northern State University. Highlighting the meet, Charlotte Gibbs broke two pool records, winning the 200-yard freestyle in 1:55.32 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:10.01.  
 
The meet began with USF's 400-yard medley relay (Isabella Perkins, Inte Pas, Phini Schneider, and Charlotte Gibbs) securing first place with a time of 3:58.75. In distance events, Alessia Moro dominated the 1000-yard freestyle with a winning time of 10:55.99, followed closely by Sarah Knox, who took second. 
 
In the 200-yard butterfly, Phini Schneider took second place with a time of 2:12.41, while Irene Paris finished third. USF also had strong showings in the 200-yard backstroke, with Isabella Perkins winning in 2:10.13. 
 
Head coach Rickey Perkins noted, "The team did a great job of supporting each other and making up for the lack of diving. I am proud of the way they competed. Over the next two weeks, we will continue to build endurance and race speed." 
 
Though USF narrowly lost to MSU Moorhead by a score of 113-122, they secured a decisive victory over Northern State with a commanding 164-49 win.
