MARSHALL, MINN. – The USF Women's golf team finished the Mustang Invite today with a single spot jump from day 1.
 
After entering the day in 5^th, the Cougars cruised in round 2 as they finished with a 299. USF was one of 4 teams to score under 300 on the day, with each team finishing in the top 4. Overall the Cougars posted a 602 (303-299) to finish at 26-over par and 2 strokes from 3^rd. Maggie Veenendall had a decent day 1 and followed it up with a great day 2 as she scored 1-under par and moved up to a tie for third place. Avery Nelson and Tanna Phares both rode 3-over par days to finish in the top 20.
