MANKATO, MINN. - The University of Sioux Falls forced seven first place finishes across 13 events against the Mavericks, but came up short falling 138-99. The Cougars finish the regular season 2-5 in dual settings and 2-3 against NSIC opponents.
"It was a solid meet, and we had some strong performances in the pool," stated head coach Ricky Perkins. "I'm proud of the way our team competed and fought hard. As we move forward, we'll begin tapering and preparing for the NSIC Championships. This is an exciting time in our season, and we're looking forward to what's ahead."

Several swimmers, including Sarah Knox, Irene Paris and Inn She Yap, added to USF's depth by earning vital placements and points in events like the 1000-yard freestyle, 200-yard IM and 100-yard breaststroke.

The Cougars wrapped up their regular season and will prepare for the NSIC Championships scheduled for February 12-15 in Fargo, ND.
