MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. - The University of Sioux Falls Tennis team opened its 2025 season with a tough match against the University of St. Thomas on Saturday evening at InnerCity Tennis. Despite a strong effort, the Cougars fell 7-0 to the Tommies.
In singles play, USF battled through several hard-fought sets, but St. Thomas managed to secure victories in all six individual matches. The closest contest came at the No. 1 singles position, where Chloe Siegfort forced a tiebreaker but ultimately fell short.
In doubles competition, the Cougars showed flashes of strong play but were unable to overcome the Tommies, dropping all three doubles matches.
