SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The University of Sioux Falls (1-2) women's tennis team faced a tough challenge against Northern Illinois (10-2) this afternoon at Huether Family Match Pointe, falling 7-0 to the Huskies.
In doubles play, USF battled but was unable to secure a victory, as the duo of Chloe Siegfort and Sofiya Janos fell 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, while Sydney Osburn and Ella Hancock dropped their match 6-2 at No. 2 doubles. The Huskies completed the sweep with a 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles.
The singles competition saw Northern Illinois continue their strong performance. At No. 1 singles, Chloe Siegfort put up a fight but ultimately fell 6-1, 6-2. Sofiya Janos (No. 2) and Sydney Osburn (No. 3) also fought hard but were unable to overcome their opponents, falling 6-1, 6-2, and 6-0, 6-1, respectively.
