Maggie Veenendall’s NSIC First Team Honor Caps a Season of Excellence

BURNSVILLE, MINN.Maggie Veenendall, a graduate student from New Richmond, Wisconsin, has been named to the 2025 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Women's Golf First Team All-Conference, as announced by the conference today. The University of Sioux Falls standout delivered an exceptional spring season, earning a spot among the NSIC's elite golfers.

Veenendall showcased her skill and consistency across a competitive spring schedule. At the Hillcat Classic (March 10-11, 2025), she posted a two-round total of 159 (81-78, +17), tying for 19th. She competed at the Hardscrabble Invitational (March 25, 2025), scoring 252 (83-82-87, +42) over three rounds. At the NSIC Preview (March 31-April 1, 2025), Veenendall carded 156 (76-80, +12), tying for 8th and earning 80 points. Her highlight came at the Augustana Spring Invitational (April 7-8, 2025), where she fired a 151 (78-73, +7) to claim 1st place and 70 points. At the Wildcat Classic (April 14-15, 2025), she scored 161 (81-80, +17), tying for 14th and adding 77 points. Veenendall shone at the NSIC Championships (April 25-27, 2025), finishing with 228 (71-79-78, +12) to tie for 3rd and earn 62 points. She capped her season at the NCAA Central Regional (May 5-7, 2025), posting 218 (72-71-75, +8) to tie for 24th and secure 99 points.

"Maggie finished her final season with us on a real positive note," said Head Coach Wade Merry. "She was consistently one of the top players in our conference, and I'm grateful the coaches in the NSIC recognized her talents."
