EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Sioux Falls women's swimming season came to a close this week as Alessia Moro and Charlotte Gibbs represented the Cougars at the 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships inside the Deaconess Aquatic Center.
The Cougar duo capped an impressive season by competing against the nation's best swimmers, highlighted by strong distance performances from Moro and a competitive showing from Gibbs in both the middle-distance and freestyle events. Their appearances at the national meet marked another milestone for the USF program and concluded a year that saw Sioux Falls continue to make strides on the national stage.

Season Finale
The NCAA Championships appearance served as a fitting close to the 2025-26 campaign for Sioux Falls. Moro and Gibbs earned their national bids following standout performances throughout the season and at the NSIC Championships, where the Cougars recorded one of the strongest conference showings in program history.
Competing on the national stage against Division II's elite swimmers provided valuable experience for both athletes as the Cougars look ahead to the future of the program.
