2013-14 (JUNIOR): Indoor: Threw a season best NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 57-8.25 (17.58m) in the Shot Put at the MSU Coaches Open which was the second farthest throw in the NSIC and the seventh in NCAA DII…also hit a NCAA provisional qualifying mark  in the Weight Throw with his toss of 59-3 (18.06m) which was the third farthest mark in the conference…earned All-Central Region honors in the Shot Put and the Weight Throw…broke school records in the Shot Put and the Weight Throw…qualified for the NCAA Championships in the Shot Put where he finished 14th overall with his toss of 53-3 (16.23m). Outdoor: Season best and NCAA provisional qualifying throw in the shot put of 55-4.25 (16.87m) which was the second best mark in the NSIC and the 18th best in Division II…also recorded team bests in the Discus (150-4/45.82m) and the Hammer Throw (170-5/51.95m)…held the 5th (Hammer Throw) and 7th (Discus) marks in the conference…earned All-Central Region honors in the Shot Put and earned NSIC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the week of March 31, 2014…finished second in the Shot Put, fourth in the Hammer and ninth in the Discus  at the NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships…broke school records in the Shot Put and hammer Throw…qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships where he finished 12th overall with his throw of 54-1 (16.48m). 

2012-13 (SOPHOMORE): Indoor-competed in the weight throw where he had a season best mark of 56-4.5 (17.18m) at the USD Open…holds the second farthest weight throw mark in USF history…also holds the 4th best shot put mark in USF history with his throw of 51-7.5 (15.74m) at the USD Open…competed at the NSIC Indoor Championships in the weight throw and shot put, finishing fourth and fifth respectively…Outdoor-broke the school record in the hammer throw with his mark of 168-4 (51.30m) at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays…also had the 3rd best shot put mark in USF history with his throw of 52-7.25 (16.03m) at the Mount Marty Twilight Meet…competed in the shot put at the NSIC Outdoor Championships, finishing 4th overall…also competed in the hammer throw where he finished 6th.

High School: Participated in Football, Wrestling, and Track & Field...2-time All-State and All-Conference...3rd place in State Track and Field.

Personal: Son of Greg Bents and Brenda Couch...2 half brothers- Juston and Cameron...Jordon is an Exercise Science Major that aspires to own is own gym to work with and train athletes.
