2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Indoor: competed in the Weight Throw where her season best mark came at the Dordt Open with her toss of 49-9.25 (15.17m)…also competed in the Shot Put where she recorded her best mark of the year at the Dakota Realty Alumni Open with her throw of 42-2.75 (12.87m)…competed in the Shot Put and Weight Throw where she finished 18th and 22nd respectively…Outdoor: Competed in the Discus where she threw a team and season best of 133-6 (40.69m) at the Red Raider Open…also competed in the Shot Put (39-5.75/12.03m)) and the Hammer Throw (142-4/43.39m) for the Cougars…finished 16th and 23rd respectively at the NSIC Outdoor Championships in the Discus and Hammer Throw.

2012-13 (FRESHMAN): Indoor- season best effort in the Shot Put with her throw of 42-11.75 (12.36m) at the NSIC Indoor Championships where she finished 7th overall…also competed in the weight throw at the conference championships where she finished 18th overall…season best throw in the weigh throw at the USD Open with her mark of 49-4.5 (15.05m)…sits 3rd on the USF All-Time Charts in both the Shot Put and Weight Throw…Outdoor-season best throw in the shot put at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays with her throw of 42-1.5 (12.84m) which earned her the 4th farthest throw in USF history…threw 131-7 (40.11m) at the Mount Marty Twilight meet which placed her 6th on the USF Top Ten Charts…also competed in the Hammer Throw where she set a season best mark of 138-3 (42.15m) which is the 5th farthest throw in USF history…competed in the NSIC Outdoor Championships in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw.

High School: Prepped at Windom Area HS (Minn.)... participated in Cross Country, Basketball, and Track and Field... 2011 SW Conference Champion, All-State team, Hamline Elite Meet...3-time Howard Wood Meet participant...charter member of SW MN throws club...2-time State Track Meet participant...6th place shot put in 2010 and 2011...2011 State Discuss Champion...School Record 40-3 (12.26m) shot put.

Personal: Daughter of Lane and Deann Steele...born August 31, 1993...two siblings- Sarah and Isaac...Hannah aspires to become a veterinarian or a dentist... has participated in community service such as a missions trip to Romania, Feed my Starving Children, and 30-hour Famine.
