Biography

CAREER -- Named to  2018-19 D2CCA Men's Basketball All-Central Region second team....selected first team All-NSIC both years at USF...helped lead USF MBB to the best two-year mark in the program's DII era at 39-21...ranks 14th all-time at USF with 1,291 points, which is the best two-year total in school history... finished with 680 points in 2018-19 which was the fourth most for a season in school history...had 56 career double-digit scoring games...his 155 career triples ranks eighth for most three-pointers made in a career at USF... named NSIC South Division Preseason Co-Player of the Year in 2018-19, became just the second player in school history with 600 points in back- to-back seasons... on the NSIC all-time scoring chart he has 979 points in NSIC games only, which placed him 37th in just two years of games... 22.7 points per game average ranks seventh all-time and best at USF at the DII level...registered 34 20-point or better games...had nine 30-point or better games with two of 39 or better and career high of 42 vs Northern State in 2017-18...registered 22 games of 25 points or more.
 
2018-19 -- Led USF to a 19-10 record and earned second team All D2CCA Men's BB All-Central Region...selected first team All-NSIC...averaged 22.7 points (7th alltime at USF) with fourth best points in a season of 680 at USF all-time...had 30 double digit scoring games in 30 games played...had 18 20-point game with three over 30 and 13 over 25...had a season-high 39 points against MSU Moorhead on 2-9-19...in 40 minutes against MSUM made a season-high 15 field goals on 25 attempts...scored 33 points with six rebounds as USF defeated city rival Augustana on 1-5-19...had 32 points on 13-of-24 field goals with 5-of-9 threes against Minot State on 1-19-19...twice made six three pointers in a game.

2017-18: Named All-NSIC First Team...selected NSIC Newcomer of the Year...averaged 21.1 ppg, scoring 611 points, a total which ranks 12th in USF school history...ranked 33rd in the country and second in the NSIC in scoring...started and play in 29 games, leading USF to a 20-10 overall record, a DII-program best mark...also helped USF to a 14-6 league mark, which was the most league wins in USF's DII era...had 26 double digit scoring games, including 16 of 20 points or more...logged 958 minutes for an average of 33.4 per game...made 212-of-459 field goals for 46.2 percent...knocked in 67 three-pointers (11th all-time at USF, tied with Drew Guebert, who also had 67 in 2017-18) on 170 attempts for 39.4 percent...ranked seventh in the NSIC with 2.3 made three-point shots per game...hit 120-of-152 free throws for 78.9 percent...accumulated 139 rebounds, including 126 defensive boards....averaged 4.8 rebounds per game...committed 66 fouls, being disqualified twice for fouls...dished a team-high 95 assists, or 3.3 per game (16th in the NSIC)...committed 86 turnovers...had 10 blocked shots with 36 total steals or 1.2 per game (12th, NSIC)...set a career-high 42 points at Northern State on Jan. 26, a total which ranked tied for 25th best in NCAA DII and the second-best total in the NSIC...made 15 field goals vs. NSU, a total which was tied for the top mark in the league in 2017-18...three times was named NSIC Player of the Week, including on Nov. 13, 2017 after averaging 29.5 points and 10.5 rebounds as USF swept Emporia State and Fort Hays States...against Emporia State he had 28 points with nine rebounds in the 94-89 overtime victory...followed up with 31 points and 12 rebounds in a 96-92 win over Fort Hays State on Nov. 11...averaged 35.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals and six three point field goals in earning NSIC Player of the Week honors for a second time on Jan. 29...set a USF DII mark with the 42 points against No. 12 NSU...had a career-high seven made three point shots in 10 attempts against NSU, a total which was tied for fifth best in the league...the next night on Jan. 27 against Minnesota State Moorhead, registered a double double of 29 points and 10 rebounds while dishing five assists and hitting a game-winning three-point field goal with under a second to play...earned a third NSIC Player of the Week honor by averaging 34.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in wins over Concordia St. Paul on Feb. 16 and Minnesota State on Feb. 17...scored 35 points, four assists with a steal against CSP and had 33 points, seven rebounds and two assists in the victory over Minnesota State...had a career-high 12 rebounds vs. Fort Hays State on Nov. 11...had a career-best 10 assists against Minnesota Crookston on Feb. 21...had a career-high five steals against Minnesota Crookston on Feb. 21....recorded three blocks against Minnesota Crookston on Jan. 13...recorded three double doubles, including 23 points and 10 assists against Minnesota Crookston on Feb. 21, 29 points and 10 rebounds at MSU Moorhead on Jan. 27 nd 31 points and 12 rebounds against Fort Hays State...scored in all 29 games...had an assist in 26-of-29 games...grabbed a rebound in 29 games...made at least one three-pointer in 27 games...had two or more three-pointers in 19 games...13 times had three or more threes in a game...totaled over four threes in a game three times, hitting five twice and seven once...transfer from Dodge City Community College.

2016-17: was a starting guard for NJCAA DI Dodge City Community College, which finished 19-10 in 2016-17...played in 26 games for DCCC, making 18 starts, and averaged 9.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game...had 11 double digit scoring games with a high of 22...knocked down 49.7 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from three point range and 76 percent at the foul line.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter at Eisenhower High School in Wichita, Kan...was named second team all-league as a sophomore and first team all-league as a junior as well as a senior...in each of his final two prep seasons, was selected first team all-state in the biggest class in Kansas...two-year team captain...was league MVP as a junior, first-team All-Metro twice and a McDonald's All-American nominee.

PERSONAL: Son of Gina Evans and Warren Evans…has sister, Jordan, who plays volleyball at Emporia State….criminal justice major.
