2012: Redshirted.

2011 (JUNIOR): Started every game for the Cougars while splitting time between catcher and short stop...batted .331 (48-for-145) with five doubles and 26 RBI... garnered honorable mention GPAC accolades.


2010 (SOPHOMORE) (San Diego City College): Named to the All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Baseball first team as a catcher…also tabbed team MVP and offensive player of the year.  


2009 (FRESHMAN): Played in every game as a true freshman (39 starts), hitting .308 (36-for-117) with seven doubles and 13 RBI…committed only four errors in 236 chances for a .983 fielding percentage…caught 15 -would be base stealers.


HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball for the Ramona High Rams, collecting Team MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, All-League and All-CIP team honors.

PERSONAL:  Son of Becky Arntz and Sergio Vasquez...has three siblings, Katie

(19), Ian (11) and Jada (10)...sports management major, entrepreneurial studies minor...professional goal is to own his own business...favorite athlete is Pudge Rodriguez…other hobbies include snowboarding, wakeboarding and riding motorcycles.
