Zach Lundberg

Zach Lundberg enters his fourth season with the University of Sioux Falls Track & Field and Cross Country teams as assistant coach after competing with the team as an athlete from 2016-2020.

Zach Lundberg completed his fourth season as assistant coach for the USF cross country teams in 2025, guiding the men to a 7th-place finish and the women to an 8th-place finish at the NSIC Championships before wrapping up the year at the NCAA Central Regionals. A former five-time Cougar All-American runner himself, Lundberg utilized his elite distance background to drive the team's tactical growth while helping lead the roster to two NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence selections and an NSIC All-Academic Team honor.

In the 2024 Cross Country season, the men placed 5th place and the women 6th at the NSIC Championship. Four Cougar athletes were represented on the All-Conference Teams. In the classroom, 11 student-athletes were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence while 12 were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team.

During his athletic career, Lundberg earned five All-American honors and five All-NSIC honors along with many others. He graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration and Criminal Justice.
