Biography
High School
Madson competed as a dual-sport athlete at Mankato East High School where he was a star point guard as well as wide receiver. He is the all-time leader for the Cougars basketball team in points, assists, and steals, and for the football team, he is the all-time leader in receiving yards and receptions. He averaged numbers of 21.8 ppg, 5 apg, 3.3 rpg, and 2.5 spg throughout his career which led to him becoming well decorated in terms of honors. He earned All-State honors, All-Conference honors, Big nine player of the year, and was top 5 for Mr. Basketball MN. In the classroom, Madson was also an All-State Academic student.Â
Personal
He is the son of Joe and Tiann Madson and has three siblings, Tenley, Jax, and Jordan.
