2017-18: Played in eight games, logging 17 minutes of action...averaged 0.5 points (four points) and 0.4 rebounds (three rebounds)  with an assist and a steal but no turnovers...hit 2-of-10 field goals for 20 percent...missed all four of his three-point field goal attempts...scored two points against Waldorf College on Nov. 21...also had two points, one rebound in win over Midland University on Jan. 16, logging season-high four minutes.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played soccer and basketball at Legacy Christian Academy...named first team All-MCAA as a junior and senior in basketball...earned second team all conference as a sophomore...averaged 21 points, 2.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game in high school. earned first-team all-conference honors in soccer as a senior and was second team all-league as a junior...was a member of Student Council at Legacy Christian Academy.

PERSONAL: Son of Joe and Therese Bertsch...has four siblings including Lexi, Haley, Ingri and Nate...Business Administration major.
