Biography

2024-2025 (Senior)

Morisch had a dominant senior season, earning NSIC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-NSIC honors. He was also selected to the NSIC Shining 5 for his standout performances throughout the year. He also earned NABC Academic Honors.

  • 1/6 – Posted 20 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 blocks in an 85-66 win.
  • 1/20 (NSIC Player of the Week) – Averaged 19.0 points, 16.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 blocks in a pair of wins.
  • 2/3 – Recorded 20.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 65.2 percent from the field.
  • 2/10 – Averaged 18.0 points, 18.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 3.5 blocks.
  • 2/17 (NSIC Player of the Week) – Put up 20.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game.
  • 2/24 – Averaged 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 52.6 percent (10-19 FG).

Morisch started all 28 games, logging 864 minutes at 30.9 per game while averaging 14.1 points and 10.9 rebounds. He set a USF Division II era record with 304 total rebounds and led the NSIC with 48 blocks at 1.7 per game. He shot 51.9 percent from the field on 151 of 291 attempts, 34.1 percent from three on 14 of 41, and 75.5 percent from the free-throw line on 80 of 106. His all-around play also included 102 assists at 3.6 per game and 22 steals.

2023-2024 (Junior)

Morisch played in all 28 games, making 14 starts while totaling 466 minutes at 18.1 per game. He scored 155 points at 5.5 per game, shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 32 percent from three. He also contributed 38 assists, 19 blocks, and 12 steals, showing his versatility on both ends of the floor.

2021-2023 (Freshman/Sophomore)

Before joining USF, Morisch played at Iowa Lakes Community College, where he earned First Team All-Conference honors and was named to the All-Tournament Team.

High School

A multi-sport athlete, Morisch competed in basketball, football, and baseball for the Indians. He was a two-time First Team All-Conference selection and also earned Second Team All-Conference honors. He played club basketball with Arena Sports Academy.
