Biography

Career
A skilled international forward with prior collegiate experience, Gerard Bosch appeared in 22 games with one start during his first season with the Cougars, totaling 351 minutes while averaging 16.0 minutes per contest. Bosch scored 139 points on an efficient 52.4 percent shooting clip while adding 115 rebounds, 27 assists, five steals, and two blocks, providing a steady interior presence and versatile production in the frontcourt.

2025-26 (Junior)
In his first season at Sioux Falls, Bosch emerged as a reliable frontcourt contributor, appearing in 22 games with one start while averaging 6.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. He led the team in field goal percentage among regular contributors, shooting 52.4 percent from the floor, while also adding 1.2 assists per game.

Bosch delivered several standout performances throughout the season, highlighted by a dominant 17-point, 14-rebound effort at Minnesota State for his first collegiate double-double as a Cougar. He also posted 12-point outings against Winona State and Wayne State, while showcasing his playmaking ability with a season-high nine assists in a win over Wayne State. His efficient scoring, rebounding presence, and versatility gave the Cougars a valuable frontcourt option throughout the season.

Previous School (MidAmerica Nazarene University)
Prior to joining Sioux Falls, Bosch competed at MidAmerica Nazarene University, where he earned Third Team All-Conference honors and was recognized as a Scholar-Athlete. During his time there, he averaged 10.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.0 block per game while posting a 14.4 efficiency rating.

High School
Bosch competed in basketball during his prep career, developing into a productive and efficient scorer. He averaged 16.0 points per 40 minutes, 6.25 offensive rebounds per 40 minutes, shot 57.6 percent on two-point field goals, and connected on 33.3 percent of his three-point attempts. He also earned Scholar-Athlete recognition and Third Team All-Conference honors.

Gerard is the son of Manel Bosch Bifet and Rosa Maria Riera Oliveras and has one sibling, Ester.
