Grant competed in basketball with the Elite Academy Basketball League, England's National Basketball League Division 1, and both the England and Great Britain National Teams. He played three seasons with the Reading Rockets in England's NBL1, starting 13 of 20 games in 2021, averaging 9 points and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 48% from the field. During the 2021 season, he averaged 19 points and 8 rebounds per game, shooting 63% from the field, 50% from beyond the arc, and 83% from the free-throw line. Grant was also a member of the England U15 National Team and Great Britain's U16, U18, and U20 National Teams. He was selected to the All-Star 5 at the 2019 Cherbourg International U18 Tournament.
