Biography

CAREER SECTION:

An elite student-athlete who put together a phenomenal breakout collegiate season following a highly decorated multi-sport career at Waconia High School. A three-time All-Conference golfer and state tournament top-10 finisher in high school, transitioned seamlessly to the college ranks for the 2025–2026 freshman year. Demonstrated front-of-the-pack talent by securing multiple top-5 finishes, including a spectacular tied-3rd performance at the 2026 NSIC Men's Golf Championship, and earning Dave & Buster's USF Athlete of the Week honors.

2025-2026 (Freshman):

During a standout freshman campaign, competed in eleven major events and was named the Dave & Buster's USF Athlete of the Week. Shone brightest in the postseason, tying for 3rd place at the 2026 NSIC Men's Golf Championship with a three-round total of 217 (78-70-69, +1), and placing 3rd individually at the Augustana Invitational with a 146 (70-76, +2). Also secured a tied-5th finish at the MSU/CSP Fall Brawl with a 1-under 141 (including a low round of 66), tied for 12th at the Jewel Invitational at 3-under par (141), and placed 11th at the Marauder Invitational (149). Rounded out the extensive season with strong showings at the USF Invitational (t-32nd, 155), NSIC Preview (t-31st, 151), Tommy Riggs Collegiate Invitational (80), Skip Wagnon Invitational (t-67th, 220), Tulsa Cup (t-77th, 229), and The Hillcat Classic (41st, 242).

HIGH SCHOOL:

A dynamic two-sport athlete at Waconia High School, competing at a high level in both basketball and golf. Earned Metro-West All-Conference honors three times in golf and once in basketball, showcasing exceptional athletic versatility. On the golf course, established himself as one of the state's top individual competitors, tying for 16th place in the Class AAA Individual State Tournament in 2023 before climbing into the top ten with a 10th-place finish in 2024. Academically, maintained an excellent standard of performance as a three-time Honor Roll student.

PERSONAL:

The son of Dan and Tonia Ford, growing up alongside sister McKenna.
