Biography

CAREER: Three-time CSCAA Scholar All American, who is a two-time Academic All-NSIC honoree and two-time NSIC Academic Team of Excellence honoree...named a D2 ADA Academic Achievement Recipient 2020... earned CSCAA All-American honors in 2020... five-time NSIC champion, including individual victories in the 2019-20 NSIC Championships in the 100 breast (1:02.30) and 200 breast (2:16.43) and the 50 breast in 2018-19...~ Also part of the two-time 400 medley relay championship squad, including the NSIC record-breaking unit in 2018-19 squad of 3:45.23.

2020-21 (SENIOR): In her final season at USF, she placed 17th in the 100Y Breast (1:04.00) and 19th in the 200Y Breast (2:20.54) during the 2021 NCAA DII Championships...earned three NSIC titles in the 100Y Breast (1:03.42), 200Y Breast (2:18.51), and 400Y Medley Relay (3:49.01) and finished in the top-eight in two additional events during the 2021 NSIC Championships...had 11 season titles and six top-three season finishes in addition to her success at the NSIC Championships...NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award recipient...DII ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient...named to the NSIC Academic Team of Excellence... other NSIC Results: 2nd - 200Y Medley Relay (1:44.38), 7th - 400Y IM (4:38.97).

2019-20 (JUNIOR): Was part of team that ranked 15th nationally (CSCAA) and was unbeaten in duals in the regular season before a third straight third place finish at the NSIC Championships ... in a quad meet with UMary, AU, and NSU won the 50 Breast (30.80), 100 Breast (1:05.02), and 200 Breast (2:22.74)... at the Midwest Shootout won the 100 Breast (1:05.59)... In a quad meet with Augustana, Mankato, and Moorhead won both the 100 Breast (1:05.04) and the 200 Breast (2:19.99)... against Nebraska-Omaha won both the 100 Breast (1:05.00) and the 200 Breast (2:23.17)... at the Augustana Invitational, won both the 100 Breast (1:02.26) and the 200 Breast (2:18.42) while setting a B cut time in the 100 Breast prelim (1:02.10)... against Northern State, won the 200 Breast (2:25.78) and placed 3rd in the 200 Free (2:02.34)... at the 2020 NSIC Championships, won the 100 Breast (1:02.30) and set a B cut time in her win in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:16.43...also part of the NSIC-winning 400 Medley Relay (3:45.27), which finished just off the meet record...also swam as part of the second place 200 Medley Relay named NSIC Swimmer of the Week on 11/26 and named to NSIC Academic Team of Excellence and named to NSIC All-Academic Team... D2 ADA Academic Achievement Recipient

2018-19 (SOPHOMORE): Helped USF to a 5-2 dual record... against Mary, won the 200 Breast (2:24.06), placed second in the 100 Breast (1:06.55), 200 IM (2:22.40)... against Minnesota State, placed second in both the 100 Breast (1:07.47) and the 200 Breast (2:27.72)... against MSU Moorhead, won both the 100 Breast (1:07.77) and the 200 Breast (2:25.85)... at the Rochester Invitational, placed fifth in both the 100 Breast (1:05.37) and the 200 Breast (2:23.44)... against Nebraska-Omaha, won both the 100 Breast (1:06.17) and the 200 Breast (2:25.35)... against Northern State, won the 200 Breast (2:26.63)... at the Coyote Invitational, won both the 100 Breast (1:04.60) and the 200 Breast (2:19.60 - B cut time) also placed fourth in the 200 IM (2:12.33)... at the 2019 NSIC Championships, won the 50 Breast (29.31) and placed second in the 100 Breast (1:04.02) which qualified as a B cut time...member of the 400 Medley Relay which won a title and set a conference mark of 3:45.23... named to NSIC All-Academic Team... named a Scholar All-America athlete.

2017-18 (FRESHMAN): In her first meet at USF she placed second and third in the 200 Breast (2:31.94) and 100 Breast (1:11.24) respectively, against Northern Iowa... against MSU Moorhead, placed second in the 200 Breast (2:31.94), 3rd in the 100 Breast (1:09.98), and 4th in the 200 IM (2:22.01)... Achieved her first event wins in a meet against Mary while competing in the 100 Breast (1:10.94) and 200 Breast (2:30.65)... against Augustana won the 200 Breast (2:28.91) and placed second in the 1:08.88... against Mankato, won the 50 Y Breast (31.51) and placed second in the 100 Breast (1:09.26)... at the 2018 NSIC Championships, competed in four events with her best finish coming at eighth in the 200 Breast (2:26.38)... named a Scholar All-America athlete.

PERSONAL -- Daughter of Franca and Fred Kasch...criminal justice and psychology major.
