High School

Ilter graduated from Doga Koleji Atasehir 1 in Istanbul, where she competed in swimming and earned Honor Roll distinction along with an Academic Achievement Certificate for overall excellence. Athletically, she was a competitive club swimmer and reached the C-finals at the Turkish National Championships. She also trained with Fenerbahce Sports Club. Ilter Competed a 100 Free with a time of 59.56, an a 50 free with a time of 27.53.

Ilter is the daughter of Ayca Ilter and has two siblings: Ilgin (22) and Duru (17).
