Chris Mohr

Chris Mohr is entering his 9th year as an Athletic Trainer at the University of Sioux Falls in 2026-27. He currently works with the Cougar baseball, women's soccer, and women's swimming programs while providing comprehensive sports medicine care to USF student-athletes.

As an Athletic Trainer, Mohr is responsible for injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency care, and return-to-play progression for his assigned teams. He works closely with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support the health, safety, and performance of Cougar student-athletes.

Throughout his athletic training career, Mohr has worked with student-athletes in baseball, women's soccer, women's swimming, and volleyball. He has a special interest in rehabilitation and the role of neurology in sports medicine, helping student-athletes safely recover and return to competition.

Prior to joining the University of Sioux Falls, Mohr served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Southwest Minnesota State University, where he worked with the Mustang volleyball program.

Mohr earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from South Dakota State University before completing a Master of Business Administration at Southwest Minnesota State University.

Mohr is a Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA). He also holds Level 2 Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR) Certification, Level 2 Institute IP Certification, and Champion Performance Specialist Certification.
