2012-13 (JUNIOR): Indoor- season best throw in the weight throw of 40-9.5 (12.43m) at the Prairie Wolf Invitational…holds the 10th farthest Weight Throw mark in USF history…also threw a season best mark of 40-6.75 in the Shot Put at the MSU Mankato Preseason Open…Outdoor-season best throw in the Hammer Throw of 140-9 (42.91m)…holds the 3rd best mark in the Hammer Throw in USF history…also competed in the Javelin where she set a season best mark of 96-10 (29.52m)…competed in the NSIC Outdoor Championships in the Javelin where she finished 13th overall and the Hammer Throw where she finished 17th overall.

2011-12: Outdoor season’s best was 43-11 (13.38m) in the shot put and 138-0 (42.06m) in the discus event.

High School: Prepped at Luverne (Minn.)…  had a very successful senior season in the field… shot a career-best 40-1 (12.21m) toss for second at the 2010 Section 3A Track Championships… finished fifth (38-10.75/11.85m) in the girls shot put at the MSHSL State Championships… also excelled in the discus, where she claimed third (121-11/37.16m) at the MSHSL State Championships… set a discus PR (130-5/39.75m) when she won the 2010 Southwest conference meet

Personal: Born Mar 22, 1991…daughter of Tom and Renee Sawtelle...has two sisters and three brothers… sister Katlyn also attends USF and is a member of the track team... English major and Biology minor...professional goal to work at a publishing firm and write fiction… something interesting about Callie is she enjoys early mornings, but doesn’t like getting up early
