Alissa Rausch enters her ninth year as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the University of Sioux Falls Track & Field program. Rausch specializes in coaching the men's and women's throws squads.
Before coming to USF, Rausch entered the coaching ranks as a volunteer at Winona State during the 2015-16 season. At Winona State, she helped coach a national champion, three All-Americans, four NSIC individual champions, and eight national meet qualifiers. As a student-athlete, Rausch had an equally-decorated career even beyond her 2015 National Championship in the discus. She was named All-American seven times (discus, indoor and outdoor shot put, hammer and weight throw) and holds the Winona State record in the discus (55.92 meters, 183-05). She also holds the NSIC record in the discus. Rausch graduated from Winona State in 2015 with a bachelors in public and community health with a coaching minor.
