Brigitte Valentine enters her fifth season as the pole vaulting coach for the University of Sioux Falls.

Brigitte Valentine completed her fourth season as the pole vaulting coach for USF Track & Field in 2026, continuing to guide the Cougars' vertical jumps squad with the expertise of a national champion. Her mentorship was highlighted during the 2026 outdoor campaign, where Peyton Hanson secured an NSIC All-Conference second-place finish in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.64 meters. Hanson also captured a Dave & Buster's USF Athlete of the Week selection and an NSIC Team of Excellence honor under Valentine's direction. Additionally, her vaulting athletes contributed to a stellar academic year for the program, which featured a combined 31 NSIC Team of Excellence honors, 16 NSIC All-Academic awards, and Collin Dingsor’s prestigious NSIC Elite 18 Award.

The 2014 USF Graduate and Athletics Hall of Famer for her skills in pole vaulting, became the school’s first-ever national individual champion, winning the NAIA title in 2011 and NCAA DII crown in 2014.
