2018-19- Indoor Track and Field...Had six top three finishes throughout the indoor season… placed second in the pole vault at the Minnesota State Invitational with a height of 4.58m (15’0.25”)… recorded another second place finish in the pole vault at the SDSU DII Invitational with a height of 4.58m (15’0.25”)… took first at the Ted Nelson Classic… second at the CSB-SJU Indoor Invite with a height of 4.58m (15’0.25”)… finished third in the pole vault at the SDSU Last Chance meet… at the NSIC Track and Field Indoor Championship, took second place with a season best jump of 4.93m (16-02), which ranks seventh all-time at USF… named to Academic All-NSIC Team…selected to the NSIC Academic Team of Excellence...Outdoor Track and Field...Captured the pole vault title at the Wildcat Classic with a height of 4.70m (15’5”)… recorded another second place finish at the conference meet but this time at the NSIC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a height of 4.78m (15’8.25”)… named to Academic All-NSIC Team…selected to the NSIC Academic Team of Excellence.

2017-18- Indoor Track and Field...Recorded five top three finishes throughout the indoor season including a first place finish at the Dordt College Indoor Invitational in the pole vault… finished third at the SDSU DII Invitational with a height of 4.65m (15’3”)… placed second at the Dennis Young Classic with a height of 4.45m (14’7.25”)… cleared 4.72m (15’5.75”) to secure third place at the Ted Nelson Classic… took runner-up at the NSIC Track and Field Indoor Championships with a season best height of 4.81m (15’9.25”)… named to Academic All-NSIC Team...Outdoor Track and Field...Placed first at the MIAA v NSIC Showdown with a height of 4.57m (15’0”)… added another first place finish at the Kip Janvrin Open… finished third at the South Dakota Invite… recorded a season-best and a mark that ranks sixth all-time outdoors at USF with a vault 4.90m (16’0.75”) at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays… named to Academic All-NSIC Team.

2016-17- Indoor Track and Field...Third at the Ted Nelson Classic with a height of 4.61m (15’1.5”)… at the NSIC Indoor Conference Championships he took fifth place with a height of 4.57m (15’0”)… named to Academic All-NSIC Team...Outdoor Track and Field
Placed seventh at the NSIC Outdoor Track and Field Meet with a height of 4.47m (14’8”). named to Academic All-NSIC Team.
 
2015-16- Indoor Track and Field...In his first NSIC Indoor Conference Championship he took eleventh place and vaulted a height of 4.15m (13’7.25”)...Outdoor Track and Field
Improved on his indoor finish with a sixth place finish at the NSIC Outdoor Track and Field Meet with a jump of 4.29m (14’0.75”).


HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in Football and Track and Field... Football scout team player of the year... fifth place in the pole vault at State Track and Field Meet... active member of speech and debate.

PERSONAL: Born on 4/8/1997... son of Brian and Kathy DeJong... enjoys playing spikeball and listening to education podcasts.
