2019-20: Cross Country- In his one race he ran a 30:46.6 for a 231st place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota… Indoor Track and Field- Qualified for the NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships in the DMR and 4x400, there his team placed first in the DMR with a time of 10:04.89, and placed 8th in the 4x400 with a time of 3:28.81… of his five 400 meter races his fastest came at the Maverick Invitational when he ran a 51.99 for a 10th place finish… during the indoor season he tallied 6 top-10 finishes and 2 top-5 finishes… Outdoor Track and Field- No season due to Covid-19… named to NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence

2018-19- Cross Country...Recorded a personal best time of 28:59.1 for 8k at the Roy Griak Invitational...Indoor Track and Field...Finished in the top 15 in the 600 at the NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 1:26.18, in the same meet he ran a leg of the 4x400 meter relay that finished in sixth place...Outdoor Track and Field...Ran a personal best time of 2:05.98 for 800 meters at the Wildcat Classic… ran another personal best time of 52.10 this time in the 400 at the Kip Janvrin Open… ran a leg of the 4x400 meter relay that placed ninth at the NSIC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

PERSONAL: Born on 4/12/2000 and is the son of Janette and Chris Slaba... hopes to become a Physicians Assistant... enjoys frisbee golf, biking, swimming, and hiking. 

HIGH SCHOOL: From Sioux Falls, South Dakota and attended Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School... was a tri-sport athlete in Cross Country, Track and Field, and Basketball... All-State in Cross Country in 2017 and was a member of the state champion team in 2015... active in National Honor Society.
