Prior to joining the USF staff, she gained valuable clinical experience while completing her master's degree, working with football, wrestling, baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, and cross country.

She has a special interest in holistic health, injury prevention, nutrition, and treating the body as a whole. In 2021, Ochsner co-authored a publication in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy focusing on Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections and their role in sports medicine.
