Biography
High School
Kennedy graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School in Cambridge, Minnesota, where he competed in track and field and football for the Bluejackets. He earned All-Conference Academic and All-State Academic honors. In pole vault, he was an All-Conference and All-State performer, placing sixth at the state meet. He was also the USATF Junior Olympic Minnesota State Champion and recorded a personal best of 14'6". He trained with Fliegles Flyers and Zero Gravity.

Kennedy is the son of Justin and Crystal Kennedy and has two siblings, Jonas (19) and Grant (14).
