2025 (Redshirt Junior)
Played in 11 games for the Cougars, anchoring the defense with 47 total tackles, including 32 solo stops. Recorded 2.0 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks, while adding two interceptions and five pass breakups. Also forced one fumble, continuing to make an impact across all areas of the defense.
2024 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors, played in 11 games, recorded 58 total tackles and two pass deflections.
2023 (Redshirt Freshman)
Played in 11 games, recorded 57 total tackles and three pass deflections.

Redshirted during his first season with the Cougars.
High School
Hoffman competed in football, powerlifting, and track & field at Washington High School. He lined up at defensive back and safety. In 2022, he was named team captain and earned All-Academic honors. His senior year stats include 38 total tackles, 12 pass breakups, and two interceptions. As a junior in 2020, he recorded seven total tackles (one for loss) and four pass breakups.
Personal
Garret is the son of Martin and Summer Hoffman. He has one sibling, Tommy.
