High School
Brennan prepped at Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, California, where he helped guide the Griffons to three straight undefeated Sunset League seasons (15-0 in league play) and an overall record of 24-5 (.828). A three-year varsity standout, he appeared in 29 career games, recording 15 sacks, 84 solo tackles, 27.0 tackles for loss, and 134 total tackles, according to MaxPreps. He also contributed on offense with four rushing touchdowns. As a senior in 2022, Brennan posted 13.0 tackles for loss, 38 solo tackles, and seven sacks in 12 games, earning All-Sunset League honors. As a junior, he logged 29 solo tackles, eight tackles for loss, and two sacks across 11 games. During the COVID-shortened 2020 season, he registered 17 solo tackles, six TFLs, six sacks, and 30 total stops in six games. Brennan also competed in basketball during high school. Chose San Diego State over offers from Colorado State, Nevada, and San Jose State.
