High School
Strand graduated from St. Thomas More High School in Rapid City, South Dakota, where she competed in basketball, golf, and tennis. A standout student, she was a member of the National Honor Society, served multiple years in student government—including as Student Body Secretary—and earned Academic All-State honors while maintaining a 4.05 GPA. She completed five AP courses, two dual-credit college courses, and earned superior ratings in viola solo ensemble performances.

Athletically, she was one of the most accomplished multi-sport athletes in her class. In tennis, she was a three-time state singles finalist, winning the Individual State Singles Championship in 2024–25, and helped lead her team to a State Team Championship that same season. She also earned state runner-up finishes in singles, doubles, and team competition across multiple years. In golf, she contributed to a State Team Championship in 2024–25. On the basketball court, she helped her team qualify for the SoDak 16 three times and the Region 8 tournament once. She was named Athlete of the Week in spring 2025 and was a Female Athlete of the Week nominee in 2026. She also competed with Rapid City Gators Basketball.

Personal
She is the daughter of Stephanie and Corey Strand and has two siblings, Elliya and Ayven. She plans to major in Pre-Medicine with the goal of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Outside of athletics, she enjoys playing piano and viola, creating art, spending time outdoors, and going to the lake. Her community involvement includes years of service with Badges for Hope, Meals on Wheels, and her church, where she served as an altar server and Master of Ceremonies.
